Computer won't boot (hard drive failure?)

For the past 6 months, I have had this problem where my PC won't boot. When I try, it ends up on a black screen after the BIOS, and eventually an error message, "A disk read error occurred Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart" appears in the upper-left corner. When I run the diagnostic tool everything is fine until it gets to the drive test where it says "A SMART test failed on the drive" and gives the error code BIOHD-8. Is there any hope left for my computer? (Btw, I am posting this from my other computer which is still working)

Download a Linux iso, burn a cd or DVD, boot from it at the failing HDD computer and try to copy your data to an external disk.

You can use Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way to make a USB flash disk boot able.

HDDs are very fragile and can easily be damaged with impacts or even movements when running.
My suggestion is to replace the HDD with a SSD.
