Concerned about SSD and Drive light keep flashing

I have put a SSD as my main drive. Running Win7 64-bit. I am now concerned that Win7 will wear this drive out as the drive light flashes constantly about 1-2 times per second. What could it possibly be doing sitting idle.

The OS is always doing something. It's nothing to be concerned about at all. It won't hurt your SSD
