Hi everyone,

Maybe someone already explained it but i couldn't find it. I apologize.
I have two laptops running Windows 7 Ultimate build 7600,fully updated.
Both of them have wireless network adapter.
I searched on internet and found that one way to connect them is by ad-hoc connection.
I established on one computer ad-hoc connection and on another I connect to that connection.
So both laptops are connected but it says "no network access" and it is not possible to share files between them two.
I created homegroup and there's nothing in that folder.

How to connect two laptops wireless and share files between them?

Thanks.

You don't need to use Homegroup to share files, but that up to you. If both laptops are on the same network, then they should be able to ping one another. If so then creating shares and connecting from one to the other is a breeze.

Checklist:

1) Can both ping one another? If yes, continue (if no, get it rectified).
2) Create folders you want to share.
3) Map to the shares.

Just create the Homegroup on one machine, you will obtain the Homegroup password when you do that. Use that password to join the Homegroup from the other machine. There is no need to use ad-hoc or any other type of sharing because Homegroups takes care of all of that for you.
