Hello. I can't seem to figure out what's going on with connectify. No matter what computer or wifi adapter I use, connectify seems to just stall and stop working. I have waited for upgrades to be released and it still does the same thing. I am VERY dissapointed with it. If anyone has any suggestions, please post. Thanks

I use Connectify and it works fine for me so I don't have any suggestions for you.

Are you saying it works for awhile then stops? Have you tried contacting Connectify tech support?

Have you tried any alternatives such as: http://virtualrouter.codeplex.com/

It's actually not necessary to even use Connectify or other software to create a wifi hotspot on a Win 7 computer, it's built-in to Win 7 but a little cryptic to use. See http://mintywhite.com/windows-7/set-windows-7-wifi-hotspot-quick-tip/

I am trying to use 2 wifi adapters to act as a dual radio repeater. Virtual router don't seem to work line that. It's seems it can only use one adapter.

What happens is everything goes well at first the hotspot creates just fine, I can connect to it just fine and everything is good but after a few hours, something just stops working, I can't seem to figure it out. It does the same damn thing over and over everytime I restart. Most of the time, I have to totally reboot my system to get it up again.

Is using 2 adapters with Connectify a supported configuration? I have never tried that.

It supposedly works. It let's you pick your Internet adapter and then underneath, you can pick your other adapter.

It don't matter if I do it like that or with just one adapter doing everything. It still stalls just the same.

just go to Network and sharing center >adapter settings> connection which is used by connectify, generally its local area connection* 13 > properties>configure>Power management> un-check the boxes about turn off connection for save battery.....thats it..

... credit to another thread i copied it from but it worked for me so hope it helps

I realize this is an old thread, however I have had this issue for several months, with no luck finding a solution until now. Basically, it requires doing a complete uninstall with Revo Uninstaller, or a similar software, that deletes leftover files, and especially registry settings.

Here is a link to a video about how to do this: Fix Connectify Frequent Disconnection Issue - YouTube
