Connecting domain name to a web site

Has anyone here registered a domain name for a Wix site? I paid an upcharge on Wix for this ability and I purchased 2 domain names (both today), but I am a little confused as how to get Wix and one of the domain names to work together. I think I got both the domain registrar and Wix pointed to each other, but when I type in my url, I am not taken to my Wix site.
Domain registrar: domainpanel.com
Domain name: www.bluespruceitconsulting.com
Wix page: Blue Spruce IT Consulting

The other domain name is supposed to go a site hosted free by Google sites. They give better instructions than Wix, but when I go to link the Google site to the domain, I get this error:
JavaException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: null
I googled this, and went through their forum, but got no help. There does not seem to be any way to directly contact Google about this. That error occurs both in IE & Firefox.

Resolved the .com address with Wix. I have to wait for about 72 hours to see if it works though.

Google sites still no go -- wonder if the error stems from the domain name using .info, NOT .com, .net etc...
