Re: Connecting the: Front-Audio-Panel-Header

My MotherBoard: Gigabit (GA-Z87-HD3 / rev: 1)
My PC Desktop case is: Antec Sonata III 500 case.
and its the version that has only these 4 connectors on its front, ie:
eg: 2 x usb + 1 x mic & 1 x line-in.

The case's Front-Audio-Panel-Header has an 10-pin plug labelled HDA (9pin plus one blocked)
The MoBo has a similar socket (F_Audio) which the MoBo-book & Antec-book says should be used for HDA.

However, the case-plug pin-diagram terminology,
doesn't seem to exactly match the terminology for the MoBo socket
(see the 2 tables in the attachment)

I would appreciate your advice:
So would you please translate the meaning of these terminologies.

Looks compatible to me. The terminology is different for some but they both mean the same thing.

I've built a lot of desktop PC systems and never really looked at the exact connector terminology. If it had HD Audio marked on the connector and it had a matching audio connection on the motherboard I hooked them up and they always worked.

I do the same and have had no problems.
