I'm having a little problem connecting to Xbox Live (or rather, my PC).

I have my PC connected wirelessly to my network and have my Xbox linked up to my PC with a crossover cable. I recently formatted my PC which had Windows 7 on it, it was also working perfectly fine with Xbox Live. I've installed Windows 7 again but cannot get the xbox linked up at all.

I recall having trouble setting this up before but fixed it eventually. I've however spent a bit of time doing this today and have got nowhere with it.

My LAN network is Unidentified but is reporting internet access. My Xbox is set up right, as it was working before the format.

I've done a search but couldn't find anything that helped fix the problem so any help would be appreciaited.

I probably need to provide more info but not sure what, so if you need any more, let me know.

Thanks.

Please let us know what you have done. I'm not using this setup myself, but as i understand, this is what one should do.

1. Write 'view network connections' in start menu
2. Mark 'Wireless adapter' and 'local area connection' -> left click 'Bridge connections'
3. Left click 'the bridge' and make sure it is just using the two adapters, wireless and local area.
4. Put the TP cable from the pc to the 360

Have you done this?
