Connection to Internet on startup

i know this is old but...

i found this thread because i had the same problem. i cured it by removing and re-installing the software, however on installing the second time around, i did not check the box to allow windows to configure- i elected to have netgear software do it.

my router has the auto-connect button on it, and i used this option as well.

Hehe thanks for your answer, but it was well over a year ago. I have a different dongle now.

i figured as much, and glad to hear it.

i posted it mainly because i stumbled into this forum looking for the problem, and found no solutions posted anywhere, so someone somewhere in the future might do the same.

only now we have a (possible) solution to the problem!
