This thread would be the thousand or millions in queue of Battery Issue with Windows 7 OS installed or upgrade from Vista.

I have 2 years old Laptop and battery,I had Vista previously, then installed Win 7 with licensed Windows 7 Ultimate CD.

As you would image right bottom corner of screen this warning comes up and red cross sign on battery. And if i plugged out Ac Adapter from pc,battery last only 25 min.

I have been trying all steps and reading searching through internet forms, but no solution yet,>
Please Microsoft admin or any other person, can anyone has solved the issue yet?

Hi oz83,

I'm pretty sure that your battery is going on the blink. 2 years is a lot of life for a laptop battery and I would consider getting a new one. One word of advice I would go to Newegg to find a high quality one with somewhat of a good warranty and not to Ebay or any place that is offering "great prices" on batteries, I learned first hand that wasn't the way to go. :( By the way the problem will be solved by replacing the battery..
