Consistent BSOD after about 2 mins of comp use

Been having BSOD issues for some time, but haven't had time to get around to fixing. Have read the instructions to report dmp files here, hoping I did everything correctly.

Computer runs fine in safe mode, but BSOD returns every time I boot up normal. Usually after about 5 mins of use. No drivers identified on blue screen, in fact it locks up during crash dump.

Any help greatly appreciated. Willing to wipe comp clean and reinstall everything if necessary. Also prepared to scrap comp and purchase new.

Working with Acer Aspire 5734z-4836, approx 3-4 yrs old.

McAfee is a frequent cause of BSOD's. I see that you have MSE already installed. So please remove McAfee.

Reduce the start-up items, Antivirus software is basically whats required.

• Remove Startup Programs in Windows 7
• Clean Startup in Windows 7

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

• Click on the rb:
• Type CMD on Search
• Left click and Run as Administrator
• Type SFC /scannow - read here

Run Disk Check on your Hard Drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it - read here

i did get a BSOD after reboot following the Disk Check step, but since finishing all the scans, i've been running for 2 days without any BSOD.

fingers crossed for the moment, will let you know if there's any relapse.
