I have 2 GB RAM with i3 processor running on WIN 7 64bit ultimate.

The system keeps freezing for almost a minute and then BSOD appears. I have re-installed the OS three times and still the the BSOD appears even when I'm not multitasking.

Additional Info:
my SMPS makes a screeching noise before the whole system freezes. The screeching can last for 5-15 seconds. Sometimes it just goes on and on and I have to smack cabinet part where the SMPS is located.

Here's the dump file below.

Given the dump file you posted, I am not surprised on seeing this considering you just reinstalled windows. Run a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
Make sure you run it for atleast 8 hours!

Yep as Gamer says mate but for 8 passes it might take more or less than 8 hours and if you get errors straight away then you can stop it.

I had another BSOD

I'm thinking this could be because either my failing hard drive or some heating issue. My rear fans don't work as fast as they used to.

I really appreciate all the help.

Again as Gamer says mate and can you get into safe mode??

yes I can but sometimes right after the BSOD when I try to reboot the system, the desktop doesn't loads and just the black screen spears with the cursor. (this was in the morning)

I tried to boot the system again in the evening and it worked fined as I'm replying on the same system.

Post up the files please.

it's 3 years and 5 months old
''from media'' ? I didn't get that... if you mean if I'm re-installing any media files.. .then no I'm not.. my system is absolutely empty except the OS files and firefox.
btw, I'm re-installing from a USB flash drive if that's what you meant. The OS is fine as it's working in 3 other systems without any errors.

Yep the flash drive was what I was wondering about and maybe it is corrupted and maybe you need to make a fresh ISO stick with this to eliminate that possibility.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html#post1839164 < just make sure to pick the right version for your activation code plus of course the language etc .

The hard drive it might be worth running a test over it using this
SeaTools for Windows | Seagate

and even a surface test with this Best Free Partition Manager Freeware and free partition magic for Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista and Windows XP 32 bit & 64 bit. MiniTool Free Partition Manager Software Home Edition. (see pic)

Mind you might need access to another machine if the BSOD problem is there on that one.

I have already checked the flash drive issue and double checked and hence ruled it out.

Probably should've mentioned this first

This sounds very much like the PSU is on it's last legs Prince that screeching sound seems awfully like the sound of a capacitor about to destruct. I would have a close look at it but DO NOT try to take it apart and if you can have a virtual sniff around the smell of this happening is quite distinct as is any overheating on a circuit board too.

The PSU letting go would certainly produce some of the crashes you are getting. If I haven't mentioned it before run this and see what the volts are on the PSU.

HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 - Download < get the right bit version.

The pic I ma sending is on my laptop so it doesn't have the volts as such yours as a desktop will have the volts displayed.

holy mother of god... my CPU temperature was almost 100 degree Celsius.

alright I have to get a new cabinet I suppose cuz they(iBall) don't make the small 400w PSU anymore that would fit in a mini cabinet.

Sounds like the whole machine needs a good overhaul Prince I don't know what CPU you have exactly but that temp is way out of whack and generally speaking 45C would be a good average.
