hi all,

I built my new pc in november and have been having constant BSOD, i have reinstalled plenty of times, memtest86 all passed, all drivers are updated, still having problems.

I reinstalled 5 days ago with the march updates and still getting them.

They happen when i am working in photoshop, playing games, surfing the net, even just idleing.

System specs are:
Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H
AMD Phenom x4 955
2 x 4GB Generic DDR3 1333
Samsung 1TB hard drive
Hitachi 500gb hard drive
Powercolour Radeon HD 6670 1GB

Any help would be great.

Cheers,

Puddney

One of your crashes was caused by your network card driver. Download the latest from here - ::: EDIMAX Technology :::

Find your device on there and download the appropriate driver.

I also show you only have 2 updates installed. There are almost 90 updates available for download now. Please make sure you have all the latest updates.

Code:
AODDriver2.sys Mon Dec 19 02:30:03 2011 (4EEEE7FB)
AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center.
Please uninstall the AMD OverDrive program as it can cause BSOD's on your system.
If it's the stand-alone app, uninstall it via Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program
If it's in the AMD VISION Engine Control Center, you can uninstall it using the AMD uninstall tool (or uninstall the entire AMD VISION Engine Control Center application through Control Panel

If the device remains a problem in perfmon /report, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Uninstall". Reboot for changes to take affect.

You also had a crash blaming unknown hardware. Please run these tests and report back the results

1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until fail - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-hardware-stress-test-prime95.html
3. Hard drive scan usings SeaTools - SeaTools for Windows | Seagate - Both long and short tests

What were the results of the hardware tests you were asked to run?

You are still getting unknown hardware related crashes. Is your system still under warranty?

You also received a TDR failure crash: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...op-0x116-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.html

Re-install or install the latest drivers for your display card. Your current drivers may be corrupt and/or outdated. Use the following method to re-install the drivers.

  1. Download the drivers you want for your display card(s)
  2. Click Start Menu
  3. Click Control Panel
  4. Click Uninstall a program
  5. For AMD:
    • Uninstall AMD Catalyst Install Manager if it is listed (this should remove all AMD graphics software and drivers)
    • If AMD Catalyst Install Manager is not listed, use the following method to uninstall the graphics drivers:
      1. Click Start Menu
      2. Right Click My Computer/Computer
      3. Click Manage
      4. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
      5. Expand Display adapters
      6. Do the following for each adapter (in case you have multiple display cards)
        • Right click the adapter
        • Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
        • Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK

        Alternatively:
        1. Login as an adminstrative user
        2. Click Start Menu
        3. Click Control Panel
        4. Click Hardware and Sound
        5. Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
        6. Expand Display adapters
    • Restart your computer after uninstalling drivers for all display cards
    • Install the driver you selected for the display cards once Windows starts
