Hi - using Firefox latest version but recently have had problems of slowing down and freezing with a pop up from I think Adobe Flash - the one giving 3 options debug script, continue and a third one I can't remember.

Not knowing what to do as I'm no techie, I've tried clicking on all three but there's still no difference. Sorry I can't explain it all any better but hope someone understands what I'm trying to say and hopefully what the remedy is...

Thanks in advance :)

Hopefully tracked down the problem in my case so perhaps the same for others....?

For these sort of slowing down and freezing problems together with the pop up notice saying "Warning Unresponsive Script" Firefox offers 2 solutions. Firstly to "Refresh Firefox" (enter into Google search) and secondly to switch over to "Safe Mode".

Tried the first option several times but still the same problems, then the second which after 24 hours is still working fine with no freezing or anything. They then go on to say that you should then try to isolate the faulty add on by enabling and disabling each one in turn, however I gave up trying to work it all out and have left it permanently in "Safe Mode" as this is what one or two others did with no further problems as well.

Not sure of the security side of things they mention, but as I've had "Zone Alarm Extreme Security" for years which has been 100% reliable throughout, anything is better than putting up with the sheer frustration of the original problem which was driving me crazy !

Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem....
