Continually get 'Aw, Snap!' message in Chrome at random

I've been having this issue with Chrome for a while now. At first I was using just Chromium because I'd rather have that then the Google branded version of it, and everything was going great but then I started experiencing the 'Aw, Snap!' message at random. I thought it was maybe an outdated plugin or something but after updating everything I was still getting it. I then tried renaming the Profile folder and creating a new profile for it like a lot of places suggested, but that didn't solve it either. I then grudgingly decided to install Google Chrome despite my dislike of the features that the branded version added. But to my horror I was still getting this message at random! This has been so frustrating and it doesn't seem like there's anything I can do.

Has anyone ever had this experience before? This happens so randomly on different sites while I'm doing different things it seems impossible for me to pinpoint it to a specific scenario. I know there has to be something that can be done about this. Any help would be very greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I tried everything in that thread and nothing made it permanently go away. That's why it took me such a long time to respond, because after trying each fix there's no one way to reproduce the bug. I just have to wait until it randomly happens again.

Also a lot of those posts are outdated anyways but were still a good source of information. I appreciate the effort nonetheless.

Any other suggestions at all? Why does this keep happening to me??
