Hello. Have contacted a virsus "trojan.ink" I have lost control of my cursor. I can boot up and have about two to three minutes before the cursor freezes. Then I have no control. I have mangnaged to get malware antivirsus to scan but having no cursor controls after two minutes I can not manipulate the software to complete the scan and fix the infected sites. Is there a way to get control back to the computer and get use of the cursor? Or any other method of getting rid of this virus? Hope you can help. Thank you in advance. Xandr

Thank you. Yes I can boot into safe mode but I can not manuever without cursor function no matter what I do the computer will not give me control of cursor. All I can do at time is use the tab key and that is limited to those areas which the tab key is set to tab to.

Hi, Xandr.

Can you use the arrow keys in Safe Mode to access System Restore and select a full restore point prior to when the problem started?

Hello. Thank you for responding. Yes I can manuever in safe mode to select repair, restore, reboot to disk image but when I sdo there is nothing I can do after it has restored to a previous restore point or a backup image because I still do not have cursor control. The problem is still there after these function are applied. My only hope is to get some way to get cursor control somehow if some can help with that. I have Malwarebyte installed but after I run it using the Tab key I cannot do anything with manipulating its function to fix or quarntee problem with cursor control.
