Hi,

CP is an example, but same request on all screens with lists... in Win7, the default view in CP is "Icon with sub-list"... I much prefer the old view of a complete list with details of all options, files, docs, etc... the old view also offered the ability to sort by field column headings, which I used frequently... is there a simple way to revert to the old view and grouping?

Open control panel in top right hand corner there is a drop down menu VIEW BY \/
click on this and it gives you a couple of options you can do the same for other files, ie programs gives you a choice of 6/7

In addition, this can show you how to set a default folder view with the "Details" view setting, then apply it as the default view for all windows.
