well scenario is I got my new dell 15r laptop with windows 7 basic loaded yesterday.. so backed it up and wanted to put my old PC's windows 7 ultimate version on it. I installed it, while installation it allowed to have only 4 partitions.
it already had 2 partitions
1) Recovery - 15gb
2) something i forgot ... some 40MB

so i made a partition of 125GB for OS
and rest of unallocated space ie some 660gb could not be allocated in more than one partition so i let it be unallocated
so after installtion got completed and OS started i went in disk management and tried to make that unallocated space of 660GB in 2-3 partitions.. but it converted all my previous partitions also to dynamic. even recovery partitions.
How do i go back to basic partitions?? particularly about that recovery partition and my C: (OS partition) ??

PS: i've naive on this subject

ok now i burned partition wizard and started from cd
But, its showing me one full 950gb HD.. and it's not convertable to basic
i can't see any partitions or other...just plain one dynamic structure :( what do i do now?

yea read all those
But what my prob is my OS and recovery and all other partitions and unallocated space is on disk 0.
and entire disk is dynamic
Now i want to convert it back to basic
and can't do i until its empty
to make it empty i'd have to delete recovery partition and all..
so any solution to it?
