Cookies on websites

I changed the password on my bank account a few weeks ago for security. Previously when I logged in I right clicked in the ID box and my ID & password appeared. Now since I made a change and when I right cick my old ID appears. This bank does not maintain cookies so I"m assuming it's my system. Where can I find and delete my old info.

There are several methods. The one that I use is ccleaner. Download ccleaner. You should use your computer for a few days and then go to the cookie section and decide which ones you want to keep. I particularly suggest this method because you should use ccleaner once a week to remove temp files, cookies, etc. It will help keep your computer running the way it should.

The cookie might be stored within the browser (?) or the installed security software (?). So CCleaner might not be able to access the protected cookie. And it would be protected for good reasons!

Firefox-based browsers have a module for storing linked site-login-password. Norton has a utility for doing the same. Keepass, Roboform and the like function similarly.

At one point, you instructed a program to remember the linkage. It's just a matter of remembering which one and proceed from there.

The only pgm I use to remember is the MSN popup. Where is it hiding at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
