Copy & Paste Problem

Ever since I first started using Windows 7 x64 I've had a reoccurring problem with copying and pasting. I copy a line of text or a cell in a spreadsheet and when I go to paste it from the clipboard I end up with a screen capture rather then my original copy. This has been going on with my first Dell running windows 7 x64, the current one and both of the new motherboards that Dell has installed. I have discovered that if I do the copy/paste operation quickly, <a minute, I get what I copied if I wait a little while the contents of the clipboard becomes a screen capture. This problem is not restricted to any particular application.

Any suggestions on a cure?

I don't know if this will affect your problem, but for me, there is sometimes a difference between whether I use the Copy and Paste commands off of the 'toolbar' to paste the object on the new page, OR whether instead, I use the right-click Copy and Paste commands from the right-click Context Menu.

It really doesn't matter how I do it. The results are always the same. Since I never had this problem in XP or Vista and you seem to have it as well I suspect it is a bug in Windows 7. Hopefully MS will find and correct it.
