Corrupt user plus I cannot use my safe mode

Hello all. First of all, excuse my english.
I am having troubles with my Lenovo. I got the "user failed to log in" error. I read a few articles, according to them I have to boot in Safe Mode and create a new account or fix the old one. The problem is first of all that to access Safe Mode its not so easy. If I try to start the laptop, even if I press constantly F8 usually its just going straight to loading the windows and my corrupt user. I have to get out the battery, plug it in again and then start the windows and tap, tap, tap F8 until I go to the menu for Safe mode. So far, so good, but when I press safe mode, after everything loads I receive a screen with my user, I am putting my password in and when I get in…the Safe mode is empty…its not the black screen thing, there is a tool bar and everything, but when I try to search anything there is just nothing…like nothing there….so I cannot proceed with the explanation tutorial because I cannot find neither the command prompt, nothing. I try to go to control panel and just create a new profile, but it doesn't let me, even though it says that my account is the administrator account…I am getting really confused, can you please help because I really don't know what to do anymore.

Welcome to the forum when you press f8 one option should be fine prompt were you can create a new user. While at the prompt check the drive for errors by typing Chkdsk c:/ f
