Hello,

I launched a sfc /scannow and it finds an error :

Code:
2015-03-04 00:23:58, Error                 CSI    0000010f (F) STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND #2827498# from Windows::Rtl::SystemImplementation::DirectFileSystemProvider::SysCreateFile(flags = (AllowSharingViolation), handle = {provider=NULL, handle=0, name= ("null")}, da = (SYNCHRONIZE|FILE_READ_ATTRIBUTES), oa = @0x55ca07b538->OBJECT_ATTRIBUTES {s:48; rd:NULL; on:[125]"\??\C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-com-dtc-runtime_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16384_none_0a1162f033fa01f6\MSDTC.LOG"; a:(OBJ_CASE_INSENSITIVE)}, iosb = @0x55ca07b518, as = (null), fa = 0, sa = (FILE_SHARE_READ|FILE_SHARE_WRITE|FILE_SHARE_DELETE), cd = FILE_OPEN, co = (FILE_SYNCHRONOUS_IO_NONALERT|0x00004000), eab = NULL, eal = 0, disp = Invalid)

I tried to find the file it was referring to, and it's just random characters :

C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-com-dtc-runtime_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16384_none_0a1162f033fa01f6\MSDTC.LOG

I tried also to launch a "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" but it tells me it cannot find a correct source and exits.

What can I do to fix this sfc error ?

Any help would be appreciated !

Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for your answer. I managed to fix the issue with mounting another windows 8.1 install on the network and using this command :

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:L:\Windows /LimitAccess
