Corrupted Task Scheduler
The tasks are not being performed. When I open Task Scheduler I get error message that the Task is corrupted or has been tampered with. This happens for every one of the 50 plus tasks that are in the tree. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TasksCache\Tree]
As one is dismissed with a click the next one comes up with the same message until every one has been dealt with. I believe this may relate to upgrade to Windows 10 and rollback to Windows 7. I never had the problem before then. I have tried going to the earliest system restore available with no success. Short of re-installing Windows 7 from disk and having to reload all my software is there any solution to this problem. Norton 360 tells me I have no virus problems. My contact with the net is relatively small anyway.
My other machine is 32 bit and the items in the tree are not the same so I cannot copy those across as a possible fix. In any case I do not believe the tasks themselves are corrupt. It seems to be a problem with Task Scheduler.
Has anyone else had this problem? Would appreciate any help with this issue
