Solved Corsair H60 - should i use Turbine Master fans in P/P?

Hello all, Recently I have installed a H60 Liquid cooler into my Rig (I5 2500K CPU, No overclock - yet) and i am not satisfied with the performance on the fan it comes with, now don't misunderstand its a very good cooler and I am happy with it but the fan is a little noisier than i hoped for at full power and to be honest the noise vs heat comparison is not really as good as i expected.

The other fans in my system are Cooler Master Turbine Master (Mach .8) fans and i am very happy with their performance and profile (they are very quiet and nice to look at)

So i want to put two of them on my H60 radiator in push pull configuration but before i do i have a few very basic questions that i am hoping you guys can help with

• Are these fan's appropriate for this (they have an odd half exposed design that may cause air leakage or something - i worry)
  
• How do i hook the power up as these fans connect to the system fan ports on M/Board or to regular mollusks - can i hook them up the CPU_FAN power output if so how do i hook both up?
  
• If these are not ideal then there a better fans for the price of £9.54 that i can pick these up for at my local store?
  
• Where can i get the same screws that the H60 came with for the second fan? they are long and go through the fan and screw into the radiator.

Having no experience with these exact fans I honestly couldn't comment, but owning a H60 myself I can say that twinned fans in push/pull do work phenomenally well; particularly when (gasp!) drawing air in to the case. The reason for this is that you're pulling in fresh, cool air in from the outside, and with a couple of fans in the top of your case (if this is applicable), exhausting that air is not a problem.

The fans I use are Antec 120mm Tricools permanently set to their highest speed, but only because I have them linked into the front panel fanspeed controller on my case; before I got this Cougar case, I used them on a generic fanspeed controller that came with my (third party) graphics card cooler.

Same screws (just for the sake of fully answering your previous questions)... Ebay? :I A lacklustre answer I know, but given that I don't know offhand, I'm ill inclined to offer further advice on the subject.

I'm not familar with that particular model. But, most everyone I know who has a Corsair cooler changes the fans for the same reason you want to. I have an H 50 and an H100. I am a huge fan (no pun intended) of Noctua fans. I run them 100% all the time and they are almost completely silent. But, with water it is less important how much air they push than how much pressure they produce within the radiator. The Noctua's are expensive, but are well worth it. The NF-P12 and the NF-F12 focused flow fans are both excellent.

Thanks for the tips guys, I'm considering the Noctua Fan's at the moment but they are much more pricey than the coolermaster ones.

I think the half exposed side's on the Coolermaster will lower the pressure in the radiator but to be honest im just not sure how these things work

You know what would be cool, a tube with a 90* elbow so it can suck in air from the outside of the side of the case and exhaust it out the back through the radiator.

I have had a good old google about the intenets and it looks like those Noc's are the way to go, going shopping first thing in the morning.

Also does ANYONE have a link where i can get some of those awesome fan screws that came with the cooler? those are pretty much perfect and i really want more of them for the rest of my fans.

If you are talking about the long screws that go through the fan into the radiator, they are 6X32 X 1.25 Most hardware stores have them.
