This seems to happen occasionally when several applications are running, I think Explorer just trips over itself and gives the error before it has completed the desired operation. Although I occasionally get these "errors" displayed, even on new systems with just a few things installed, the operations are still carried out. If you want to get rid of it altogether, ( although it seems to be harmless), then install TeraCopy and let it replace Explorer copy. There are also other alternatives if you don't like TeraCopy.

Also, when using "Classic Shell" and the new copy UI it contains, these errors are no longer displayed. This is probably because Ivo has altered the default copy UI ( User Interface ).

Classic Shell - CodeProject

Scroll down to "New Copy UI" to see why.
