My cpu ang gpu temps are around 55-60c and I would like to know if my fans are running well..

here are my questions..

How do I adjust the fan speed for my GPU and CPU ?
Is it safe to max out the fan speed ?
How do I check if it's running on max speed?

There are a few different programs that you can use to monitor fan speeds.

SpeedFan - Fan Speed Control and Monitoring

Everest Ultimate Edition - Sensor Monitoring

There are others as well, I'm sure the masses will suggest them.

As far as safety w/ maxing out a fan's speeds. It's safe, but you risk burning out your fan's motors faster than normal. The best thing to do is find a program that can set a scale.

I.E.
2000 RPM <= 50 Celsius
6000 RPM >= 70 Celsius

That way your fan speeds will slow down when your computer is cool, and will speed up when it's under load. In that scenario, 60 celsius would cause the fans to run at 4000 RPM.

You could try contacting the author, but regarding your initial question fans spin at top speed by default. If the system is running hot you need to look at other things. In my experience the main reason systems run hot is dirty heat sinks, so make sure they're clean (blow out the power supply too). Make sure air is flowing through the case properly - case fans need to be pushing/pulling air in the correct direction or else they work against each other. If all of the above isn't enough you could try an additional fan. By the way, are you overclocking?

I just cleaned my PC yesterday.. and no I'm not overclocking... btw the temp in our country is around 30-35c I think... and I guess it's really adding up to the PC temps

Make sure you don't leave your fans on high all of the time, if possible try to find a command line utility so that you can write automated scripts to adjust the fan speed as needed.

Otherwise, good luck.

AI suite takes care of that... AI Suite's Fan Xpert automatically adjusts the fan speeds depending on the temps ;)
