Hello i recently installed my corsair 850 W psu but after doing so it took me around 3 hours to get my pc to even boot and the cause from what i could find is i change the 3 pin power connection for my corsair h60 it then decided to boot up but made an insanely loud noise that was coming from the block that i assume to be the pump i then changed the 3 pin location it was connected too but to no avail when i turned my pc on it booted fine but within 1 minuet it was as loud as can be so i opened up core temp and it was reading 67-8 degrees bear in mind this is up from my usual 18 degrees so i changed the 3pin to a molex and to no avail it is still loud and my temps are high i can only assume that my pump in my block has failed
Who should i contact and what do you think the issue is?
(Side note my mobo has a 8 pin connection how ever i was only using 4 pins now im using 8 this could be a factor but i have no idea)
Cheers - silver
