So yea I have a current oc of 3.6 on my current cpu in the sig. Anyways I was thinking of upgrading my ram to 8gb. Got 4 atm, anyways what I wanted to ask is would I have to reset all my settings in the bios when I change my ram and change the Ht Link speed? Sorry not to knowledge with this,
All I changed in the bios was the cpu speed to 240 to get 3.6Ghz and the HT Link to 2000MHz. Would this effect my rams speed if I get a kit with 1600MHz? I want to be able to have my full ram speed but keep my cpu oc. Sorry if this question sounds a bit confusing but it's hard for me to explain. Want to make sure before I buy the ram kit.
OH btw for those wondering this is the ram i'm looking at to upgrade to.

What speed was your original running at?

That being said, the kit you linked to on Amazon only goes to 1333MHz, and only has one review.

I noticed that in your search terms you had "amd." Intel and AMD chips use the same ram, providing it's ddr3 desktop RAM
Try this search term

I'll reccommend this RAM, but it claims to be heavily discounted and i don't know how long that will last (or if it really is discounted - that may be a marketing ploy)
