CPU Too Hot?

hello.

im wondering if my CPU gets too hot when i put it under load. im using an acer aspire 7720 with an intel core 2 duo T5450 rated for 1.66GHz. when i open up a couple programs and put it under a fairly good loading, the CPU cores get up to around 57-60 celsius, and it orbits around 45-48 at idle. is this fairly high?

Just be sure to use it on a hard surface and don't block the cooling vents... they overheat pretty quickly without the needed airflow.

You can also download a program that can manage the speeds of the fans.

SpeedFan is a good one, it doesn't work with all computers, but works with quite a few.

There are other fan controllers on the market, you just have to research which ones will work on your computer.

Personally, I have a Macbook Pro so I have to use a program called FanControl on the mac side to set a range. It's a bit more convenient than a a program that just sets a speed but it also doesn't allow me to specify specific speeds at specific times.
