CPU Usage, CRAZY ups and downs

Hey everyone, I've noticed that my laptops CPU usage has been unable to hold a steady line every since this morning. As for we surfing I haven't done anything unusual and as for downloading it has just been a few torrents. I'm running a Norton scan right now... any other suggestions as to why this may be happening?

NOTE. The CPU usage varies greatly even when no applications are open ie. when I start the computer up.

There are always apps open even when booting, and this is a problem why?

The only thing I see in your hijack log which could potentially be the culprit are your toolbars (ask.com) and that Google Service : "O23 - Service: Partner Service - Google Inc. - C:\ProgramData\Partner\Partner.exe".
If that only startet this morning, you could always try and use a restore point from yesterday.

Many things can cause this to happen. Programs that are updating automatically like Nortons or any other program set to automatic check for updates. Because you use torrents I would also recommend Malwarebytes Anti Malware and Super Anti Spyware. Many people have got bad things using torrents. I don't recommend using any kind of torrent. Of course these are my thought and feelings. You can have bad things trying to call home.
