I've had my new MSI GE620 for only about a month and half and Ive been getting random crashes, not only but frequently, after trying to launch an application which then stops responding and can't be ended even by a taskkill /f command.

Specs:
Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit
Intel i7-2630QM 2GHz
8GB DDR3
Nvidia Geforce GT 560M

BSOD code reads
0x0000009f (0xFFFFFA80079FDA10, 0xFFFFF80000BA2748, 0xFFFFFA800BD9CE10)

Hello and Welcome!

The dump files are missing from the list. If you use CCleaner or any such software it will delete the files so once you get crash go to C:\Windows\Minidump and collect the files and attach it here.

Regarding the crashes I think the problem is multiple Virus protection programs. You have Zone Alarm, Panda Cloud and Spyware Search&Destroy. The combination of multiple antivirus and firewall are well known for such crashes.

I would recommend to remove all of them (For time being) and just install Microsoft Security Essentials and see if it crashes. If not then install either Panda or Zone Alarm (not both). IMO Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Firewall is more than enough. Zone Alarm is notorious for BSOD.

Run SFC/ SCANNOW to make sure all the system files are intact.

Hope this helps!

Im attaching all the dump files from my folder in the zip.

Also I understand that multiple antivirus software can cause issues, I've already done a clean install of windows and did nothing but update the drivers from the msi site and it was still crashing so I'm fairly confident its not any third party software

I still see multiple antivirus software. The dumps are pointing to nvlddmkm.sys which belongs to nVidia.

Ah! I'm getting frustrated.

"Driver IRQL not less or equal" BSOD

Minidump folder has no files in it.

Im assuming this could be because when i get a blue screen it says dumping memory but even after it reaches 100, the computer doesn't restart, it just freezes on the BSOD

Hello,

Seems like the crashes is caused by athrx.sys i.e. your Atheros WLAN card. I would recommend to remove the existing drivers and reinstall it.

Bugcheck:

Code:

I've updated my nvidia and atheros wlan drivers and it seems that that probably is fairly consistently coming from ntoskrnl.exe. Which makes sense since windows fails to boot/shutdown frequently.

I've run "Free window registry repair" since most of what I read said that would cause the issue, although Im not sure how good of a program it is, and still getting crashes

Is there any way this good be caused by a hardware issue?

I've run registry cleaners, antimalware, antiviral, antispyware, disk checks, sfc /scannow, uninstalled and reinstalled all my drivers including nvidia's multiple times.

I've done everything I can and it's just getting worse so I'm considering asking MSI for a replacement since it is still under warranty.

It could be only way to tell is to reinstall Windows i.e. Vanilla install so we would know if it's software or Hardware.

unfortunately MSI doesn't include a recover disk, simply their "recover" function which reinstalls windows. This I've already done but I feel like if the corrupt information was installed originally then it will just get reinstalled when I run the recovery

unfortunately MSI doesn't include a recover disk, simply their "recover" function which reinstalls windows. This I've already done but I feel like if the corrupt information was installed originally then it will just get reinstalled when I run the recovery

See if you can borrow a disk from a friend and reinstall it. But this is less likely the issue. If you have recovered already and still the same issue it's more likely some hardware component.
