Crashes in Windows 7 64-bit With No Event Log

Today I was playing music on my computer and while I was out of the room it crashed. When I came back after the music stopped it was already at the BIOS screen so I did not have a chance to see if there was a blue screen or error message. When I looked in the event log there were no events logged for the time of the crash. This is the second time the computer has crashed in the past few days, and I thought that it was random since the last crash gave me a blue screen referencing the audio driver after I plugged in a USB headset while resuming from sleep. However, now it seems that this may be a recurring problem. I reinstalled Windows 7 64-bit several months ago after having many blue screens and I hope that the same thing isn't happening again.

3 of your last 4 dump files blame your graphics driver atikmdag.sys. Many people are having issues with the latest Catalyst, 10.12. See this thread for issues. You may want to consider installing one of the previous Catalyst versions x64 x86. However, be aware that Catalyst v11.1 is due for release this week.

This driver is very old and is a known cause of BSOD's on Windows 7:

Thanks for the quick reply! I've updated the Asus driver, ASACPI.sys, but next time you should tell people that the installer will restart their computer without warning! I have the latest version of Hamachi, and that's the only LogMeIn program I have installed on my computer. Is there another place to get updates for those drivers? Also, which driver should I download on the page you linked to for the updated Marvell driver?

Yes, you were right -- both the SNCAMD and snp2sxp are drivers for my webcam. It's a cheap one that I rarely use and driver support for it is terrible at best. I need to get a better one just for newer drivers it seems, one from a name brand.

Also, about the new Catalyst drivers, I recently had issues with 10.12, and even had to uninstall and reinstall it to get Autodesk Inventor 2011 to stop crashing. I'll be sure to install
11.1 when it comes out on the 26th.

Oops! I didn't actually know that!

I tend to install the drivers manually!!

mv61xx.sys = Asus M4A79XTD EVO under sub-heading SATA.

If the LogMeIn becomes the cause of any BSOD's it will be down to the outdated drivers which unfortunately would mean uninstalling. I know some people have had problems with it.
