Crashing after computer upgrade(arma 3/ rome 2 total war)

Hello i recently upgraded my computer, changing the processor and mobo.
After upgrading, i installed a new OS on a new SSD.
During bios, there was an issue with bios not detecting the correct ram speed. I have 4 ram sticks, 2x 1600mhz 2gb & 2x 2133mhz 4gb ram. It was detected as 1000mhz and 1600 mhz respectively. The guy who did the installation said it was a matter with settings and forced the ram to 2133mhz.

When playing these two games, i am experiencing crashes that i did not have before. I am not sure if the problem is caused by the program or my computer. In event viewer:

Hi and welcome to SevenForums

First of all why did the guy forced the other ram to run at 2133mhz? The 2x 1600mhz 2gb should run at 1600mhz respectively while the 2133mhz ram should run at 1600mhz.

As for the game, Have you tried verifying the Integrity of the game cache? If that doesn't work then you need to re-download the game.

I have set the clock of the ram back down to 1600 mhz. I will test further to check. I ram windows memory diagnostic and no errors were reported. I am trying to boot into memtest but so far no luck.

I have already verified the files thru steam and no errors were found.

Strange.. So okay, have you tried download on of the games that has problems? It seems to me that steam needs to re-download the pre-requisites that the game needs before it needs to run
