create a partition on your Primary hdd? SSD Ques also

I currently have
1 ssd
1 1tb HDD


right now im rotating going into windows on my 1tb hdd and my ssd because theres some after effects projects i wanted to finish before i fully move over to the ssd.

What i want to do:
Create a partition on my 1tb drive
After im done with my projects on my 1tb i would like to merge the two partitions on my 1tb together.
The new partition on my 1tb would be used to housed my larger apps, games, and my temp folder.


i remember i use to have this program called nortons partition magic it worked well but doenst work in win 7.

so.. any one knows any good programs?

also is it safe to run "disk cleanup" on my ssd?
does this create more writes on my ssd and should i have it enabled?

I easily partitioned my hard drive with a Windows 7 - 64 bit system using the free Partition Wizard.
Partition Wizard is a Magic Server Partition Manager Software for Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 and Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7.
