hello. for those who got confused by the title of the thread (i couldn't) put it into better context from what it is) my situation is as follows.
i have an old laptop which came pre installed with windows vista. i was considering making a vm of vista on my current laptop but as it was pre installed, i have no way of getting the installation files off so i can run it throught the vm and install it. is there any way to get around this (preferabaly legal
)?
thanks in advance.
