how to Re-install a pre-installed windows 7 without product key

I have a Lenovo G550 model 20023 laptop, i know it had a pre-installed version of windows 7 and it was erased.

I need to re-install windows 7 to my laptop however i'm facing some obstacles

1- The COA sticker is worn so i don't know which type of windows 7 was installed (Pro. or home premium .. 64bit or 32bit)
2- The COA sticker is worn so i don't see the product key that would be written on it.
3- The hard disk has been formatted.
4- I don't have Lenovo recovery media and it seems that if i can't request them because they don't ship to my country.

any help ?

I'm afraid that it looks like you may need to purchase a new copy of Windows 7 since there doesn't appear to be any way to recover your product key.

Brink, would he be allowed to purchase Windows 7 Pro from a US store such as Altex [AustinTX], or, is the only option to buy in that country?

Not sure. It just depends on if they ship to his country or not.

if i downloaded windows 7 installation media from digitalriver will i be able to auto-activate it depending on the BIOS embedded product key ?

Sorry, but no. That's only with Windows 8 and 8.1, and only if the OEM PC came with it preinstalled and supports UEFI.
