Solved Creating a Taskbar Toolbar then coping to all win 7 users

Guys how best to copy a taskbar toolbar that I created (user=win 7 admin) to all win 7 users on the machine.

We want all current profiles on a machine to have the same toolbar (toolbar points to a company folder) and need to create a batch file to implement across all user profiles. I see a thread on how to back it up but restoring it into other profile does not work.. Any suggestions is much appreciated

Hello Steve, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you mean the tutorial below, then restoring would only work if the users have the target path of the toolbar at the same location.

What is it doing when you try?

It worked .. what I did was created a Batch file and placed it in the startup folder of the machine. It checks to see if a certian folder exists for the user and if not continues to run the batch - it make the folder and moves the restore file then runs the import reg command for the user.
