Greetings All, this is my first post in this forum :D

I just installed Win 7 x64... (PReviously using Winxp) ...

Everything is perfect except 1 thing.... my woofer aint giving any sounds...

previously in WinXP there is a setting to activate it but now in Creative Audio Control Panel... i dont see it... although in Win 7 sound manager, there is bass boost included in the enhancement but i cannot do anything...

i really hope somebody can help me on this... otherwise everything is perfect... i love how my computer looks with the win 7 :)

Do you have the Creative (SoundBlaster) provided Windows 7 drivers or just whatever drivers Windows installed? If you do not have the Creative drivers that is the first step.

The Audigy SE is an old (legacy) sound card. I have one installed in a Dell Desktop with Vista 32 bit OS. I don't use it for anything other than standard 2.1 computer audio. I had the Audigy SE in Windows XP originally.

Exactly how are you connecting? If you have an analog 2.1 computer speaker system, the bass is actually generated by the bass speaker in the system. I don't have any special bass control that I set, just the basic (flat - no extra EQ) Equalizer settings. Vista and Windows 7 use the exact same driver and settings.

i connect it the way i connect them when durin WinXp... nothing is changed...

im using 5.1 speaker... previously in WinXP there is something like this -> Creative Worldwide Support

but that is not available in WIN 7 settings... well other than SB Audigy.. i also have other sound card which is pre built in my mobo from Realtek but i never use those...

so just in your opinion is the Realtek HD Audio is better than the Creative? im using ABIT IP35 PRO mobo..

okay now i connect my speaker to my mobo built-in sound card and everything works fine... its Realtek HD Audio built in card tho...

only one thing disturbs me... i got a headphone that comes with mic.. so i plugged in both jacks to the front jack that is created for mic and heads for user convenience... but when i play music... headphone gives out sound.. but my two front speakers also gives out sound... what setting should i change so i can hear the music from the headset only?

One issue, if you have both the Realtek and the SoundBlaster installed there can be conflicts and the SoundBlaster will not work correctly. You have to disable the Integrated (RealTek) audio in the BIOS so it will not conflict.
