Yeah that's the idea. Is it possible to make the logo any better. That's really what I need. Like 3D or something to make it stand out, bold.

In answer to your question Arc, yes I re-drew it but I used CorelDraw to create the vector then exported it to PS to do all the shading etc.

So a few more question please ... why didn't you create the vector in PS ? And why not the shadings with corel draw? Actually what is corel draw and how it is superior than PS ?

Well the thing is Arc its not quite that simple. CorelDraw is a Vector based graphics package which is for designing/drawing vector based images eg. DTP, Logos etc. It comes bundled with CorelPhoto Paint which is Corel's equivalent to PhotoShop. Most of my images are called "Metafiles" this means they incorporate "Bitmaps" and "Vectors" together. Corel is not superior to PS its just another graphics package which I happen to know fairly well, but then I have been using it since CorelDraw Ver2 (here come the old fart jokes)
I think the best thing is to link you to a tutorial explaining the difference between bitmaps and vectors that I did over on Anthony's web site GFX Effects --- difference between Bitmaps and Vectors.
And in answer to your question, Yep you'de be more than capable of using Corel's programs
