Changing the driver letter won't help. Is there any error code when it crashes?

No error code, it´s just not start if my external HD is on and if i turn it off it`s start immediately. Seems like somekind compability issue or something.

It may be the letter, try to change it from daemon tools options, it may work. Maybe both the HD and daemon tools use the same letter and thats why it crashes. Try it but i am not sure.

Daemon Tools just causing problems all the time, especially BSODs, I highly recommend you just remove Daemon Tools.

Download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

  • Double click to open it.
  • Click this button only:

  • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.
