Hi,

Earlier today a dark blue box appeared when I booted up my computer in the bottom right corner of the screen. It isn't there immediately after log on, but appears a few seconds later as if it is 'loaded' in the startup procedure.

Does anyone have any idea what it is and how to get rid of it? I've attached a screenshot for reference.

Thanks very much!

A while ago I d/l a program and got some Malware in it. I tried a couple programs to get rid of it but no luck. I just did a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html to a date before I did the d/l and it was good again. You might do the same to a date before you had the problem.

Clicking/right clicking on it has no effect! Forgot to mention, it's always on top of any windows.

Thanks, I'll give a system restore a go as a last resort if no-one can suggest anything else!!

I think System Restore is a good idea.
