The laptop model will be on a sticker on the laptop, or it will be silkscreened on the laptop, or somehow otherwise printed on it somewhere.

DV6 is a series, not a model number. That hardly narrows it down at all. Some of them are Intel based, while yours is an AMD based system.

The Radeon 4250 graphics are onboard, and share the main memory.

There may be a way to increase the RAM allocated to graphics, but without knowing the exact model number, it will be hard to find the manual online.

The manual is here:

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02659236.pdf

but it covers a range of models. There's no mention of one that uses Radeon 4250 (integrated) graphics, or of any BIOS settings that would enable you to allocate more RAM to graphics.

Maybe HP doesn't let you do that. Notebooks from the appliance PC makers sometimes have rather simplified BIOS settings.

Maybe it's for the best. What's worse - the game not running at all, or running very badly?
