• Everybody has their ball preference. Some guys like them round. Some guys like them thin. Some guys like them tacky. Some guys like new balls. Some guys like old balls.
• He knows how he likes his balls, and he tells the equipment guys how great they are.
• He does not squeeze his balls. It's not part of his process.
• When he felt his balls they were perfect.
• He does not want anyone touching his balls.
• He does not want his balls rubbed.

Billichick as head coach probable has no idea where the football come from, get to the field, stored, or maintained. Head coaches have more to worry about. Air pressure in the footballs did not make the game so one sided.
Now do teams cheat? Sure they do when they can. This is not nation shattering news.

The locker room attendant was the sacrificed lamb. If you look at the first half score compared with the second half scores you will find the after the footballs were inflated properly New England did much better. The NFL could of started all of this B/S just for millions of dollars of free advertisement. I have noticed that the spread between the two supper bowl teams was even and sales were down. After inflatagate ticket prices went up over 90% and sales went up.

I hope the locker room attendant gets a piece of the action.

What about the new theory it was caused by the weather? No, I am not into football. Some experts agree that the weather causes the football to deflate. The same can happen with you car tires in the winter. However, to see if the coach is lying the NFL will have to do their own test to see if he & the so called experts are correct.

Don't they have camera on the football bag? I am sure CBS has tapes to see if anyone tampered with them. Cameras are always recording even though they may not show that view on tv.

Yes psi like in a tire or football would change with temp. The higher the temps the higher the pressure. But it should of effected both teams footballs the same if they were handled in the same fashion.

If the pressure of a football was set when it was 80 deg in a locker room and then put out side in 40 deg the pressure will be lower when the football pressure was measured again. This is grade school science but still above the heads of the NFL.

The easy way to solve this problem in the future is to do like some race car people do with their tires so they don't get higher pressures when the get hot during a race and change the stagger. Inflate them with nitrogen gas.

Supposedly there's video of this employee going into a restroom with the footballs. He was in there for 90 seconds. My first reaction: No way could the deflation be done that amount of time! But after giving it some thought, I now believe the deed could be accomplished in less than 90 seconds. Bleeding a bit of air out of a football takes just a few seconds, and there were only 11 footballs in question. What do y'all think?
