I have a question about power management but cannot figure out how to post a question under that thread.
Help anyone? I am novice on 7 (and this site).
How can I delay the hibernation when I shut the lid of my laptop? I have three options, sleep, hibernate, do nothing. I would like to be able to shut the lid on my lap top for privacy when someone enters the room but it happens immediately. I would like to delay it 5 or 10 minutes. It take a long time to come back on. I used to be able to adjust the time it takes to go into hibernation, sleep or turn off. Windows 7 seems to have taken that away. Any help to offer? I am tired of shutting my lid and then realizing I should have done something and then having to wait for it to reboot.
