I am experiencing a delay on the windows sound when my computer boots up. The computer starts and the screen appears but the typical windows start-up sound is delayed by about 5 seconds. I know that this can be adjusted. Does anyone have any ideas where it is located please?

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Check Windows Audio should be "Automatic". If its Delayed, there is your problem.

2- You have to put a Desktop Wallpaper. If you have your desktop with a Solid Color background, that's another problem. I don't know what does the wallpapers has to do with "sounds" but that would fix it.
