Deletable Programs

So my computer runs pretty quickly already, but I figured every little bit helps, and I'd go ahead and uninstall all the programs I didn't need. Unfortunately there were way more than I expected and I'm not quite sure which ones are necessary and which ones are just wasting space. Can I get some input about which of the following programs are unnecessary and can be deleted? Like I said, my computer runs quickly already, so if you're not sure whether something can be deleted, please say so, and I'll take the conservative route and keep it. However, if you're sure something's not needed I'll take it out. Thanks in Advance!

It's a difficult buisiness telling you what programs to delete, we don't know what you do with your PC, and what dependencies these programs may have with other programs you do need. That said, I don't see anything on that list that shouts out, "delete me I am a resource hog". But, I will suggest you remove the older versions of Java, as they are a security threat even though you have the latest version Java(TM) 6 Update 20 Sun Microsystems, Inc. 3/20/2010 95.0 MB 6.0.200 installed. Download JavaRa and have it remove the older versions and the unneeded bits as well:

RaProducts - Products

May I suggest you actually add another program (sorry :) ), and run it to see what else if out of date, and insecure?:

Secunia PSI

PSI - Consumer - Products

This will scan your PC and tell you what is insecure and even give download links in most cases. This is a very good, thorough program, and you can close it afer you use it if you want, it does not have to run always.

A Guy

If you delete those programs from the program library, it will not buy you any performance. All it buys you is a smidget of disk space. What is a lot more interesting is which of those run in the startups. Those take RAM and CPU resources and can potentially impact your performance.
If you care to post your startup programs, we can discuss those. Best is to use WinPatrol for easy access and manipulation.

As for which ones I use regularly, I know I need Adobe Reader and Flash Player, the VPN Client, Google Chrome, Defraggler, CCleaner, MalwareBytes, Java, Microsoft Office, Firefox, Skype, Symantec, Synaptics, and Windows Media Player. As for the rest, most of them I'm not sure, especially with all the random HP stuff that came preloaded.
Here's the list of startup programs:

Yes HKCU:Run ehTray.exe C:\Windows\ehome\ehTray.exe

I copied it from CCleaner's list, so everything with a "No" is currently disabled, and anything with a "Yes" is currently enabled. Any help with either the total program list or the startup is appreciated; Thanks

This list is a little confusing. It would have been easier to read (and to manage) if you had used the WinPatrol Startup window. But in any case, you have far too many startups. Essentially you can disable everything except your AV (which seems to be Norton). Then backtrack from there and enaable the ones you really want to be launched at startup (an example could be the sidebar/gadgets).
