Solved Delete files immediately, without right-clicking recycle bin

Is it possible to set a drive to "Remove files immediately when deleted" without right-clicking recycle bin icon?

I normally do not show the recycle bin icon on my desktop. When I use a new USB drive, I have to display the recycle bin, right click to disable its use on the new drive, and then hide the recycle bin again. Is there a faster way to do this?

It looks like this requires you to right-click on the recycle bin icon on the desktop, which is what I'm trying to avoid. Is there an alternative way to access this option?

Not that I know of.

Usually removable media like a USB flash drive does not use the Recycle Bin. When you delete files on them, they are deleted permanently by default.

You might see if the context menu in the tutorial below may work for you for this.

Thanks for the help. On my system, new USB files (Seagate and WD) default to use the recycle bin.

It's not a big deal, just a convenience issue. I'll never remember to delete with Shift or right-click (after years of practice otherwise). If I forget to disable the recycle bin on a USB drive, it will fill up the drive the second or third time I erase its contents and copy a bunch of files to it. I could empty the recycle bin, or even format, but again, it's just a convenience issue.
