Hi all,
Just started experiencing this problem a few days ago. No idea what caused it.
The delete key on my keyboard(s) no longer works. I've tried 3 different keyboards (which I know to function), and pressing the delete key (either one, on the numpad or above the arrow keys) doesn't have any effect.
Even on the on-screen keyboard, it doesn't work!
Strange thing is though, CTRL+ALT+DEL works. SO for some reason, the delete command just isn't registering when I press the delete key.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard and software, no results. I'm using a MS Comfort Curve keyboard, but also tested on a Logitech Wave and an old PS/2 keyboard.
I've searched all over and haven't found anyone with a similar issue.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks much,
-Dirk
EDIT: Even more strange observation: When I hit a key in conjunction with DEL, it works. Like Shift+DEL functions properly!
