delete old user name !!!

hi,

last week did a clean install on win 7 pro on c drive ... now that i have created a new user name, all files associated with old user name need permissions ... can "permissions" file be edited so that old user name is replaced/deleted by new one ??? as old user name showing "red ?" on it in security tab ...

No its not a file its the ntfs disk system you will have to take ownership of the folders
