Deleted OEM Partition and now cannot boot

That's what started all this, right?
 No idea what you are talking about.

Anyway, it seems that actually recovering my system is not so easy.

So I guess I will to attempt a full reinstall.

The thing is as it stands win 7 will not install as I explained in my first post.

But, do you think the original Samsung Recovery CD will get me back to windows XP? Then I can reinstall 7 again.

If the only remaining parition is your OEM partition, then you apparently deleted your Win7 partition instead of the OEM partition as you intended.

Boot the PW CD and Explore the remaining partition to see what folders are on there. Then on the DIsk tab, see if you can recover the Win7 partition if you deleted it.

If you still have the full Win7 installation on there then did you mark it Active with PW CD, boot the Win7 DVD Repair console, click through to run Startup Repair up to 3 separate times with reboots?

You need to reinstall Windows, delete all partitions, create a new one at install, and install Windows on that.
