Deleting wireless connection

I have honestly tried researching this and I just keep getting more confused and I don't want to screw something up. One of my available wireless connections is "NativeWIfI Default Profile". I can't delete it or even change it's hierarchy in the Manage Wireless Networks. I read all of this info on cmd prompts with admin privileges, hidden this and hidden that, and I'm just confused. I am running Home Premium 7x64. I guess my concern is running with administrator privileges and leaving the machine open to remote hijacking.
Thanks for any guidance anyone may be able to impart.
